Last night there were three Community Board meetings for DOT projects.
In Harlem, Bicycle Program Director Hayes Lord presented the proposal for Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd.
In Midtown, the pedestrian group described the redesign of Broadway.
And in Greenwich Village, DOT bike program staffer Wallace Murray and Alt. Modes director Josh Benson introduced new lanes for Christopher and W10th and for Macdougal St and Thompson St.
Having lived on Bleecker and Macdougal for 5 years, I attended the CB2 meeting. Wallace and Josh did an excellent job of explaining the different types of lanes proposed, and the project was well received by the community.
