A few weeks ago I finished editing and formatting the 2009 NYC Cycling Map and the final product can now be found in bike shops all over the city. You’ll also be seeing the map in the new bike parking shelters and as a poster that may be available at the NYC CityStore. If you happen to catch any errors on the ’09 map, let me know and I’ll fix it for 2010.
This winter I also had the opportunity to work with Transportation Alternatives and NYC & Company on the 2009 Bike Month campaign. NYC&Co did a great job creating the visuals, and you should already be seeing the ads in the subway and on the street. Be sure to check out the Bike Month website for the calendar of events. This Friday I’ll be passing out maps at Grand Central’s Earth Day NY, so if you’re around, stop by and say ‘Hi’.
